National Brain Research Centre was dedicated to
the service of the nation on 16th December 2003 by
Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, India.
National Brain Research Center conducts various doctoral
and post-doctoral programs in areas related to neuroscience and
brain research. Candidates who have enrolled for the various
programs offered by the NRBC are entitled to the receipt
of scholarships sponsored by the organization. Such scholarships
are designed to assist the students in their various research
activities and meet their financial requirements from time to time.

Details of
National Brain Research Center Scholarships
National Brain Research Center Scholarships are available only to
students admitted in the following courses of the
NRBC: Ph.D. Program in Neuroscience (Rs. 8000 per month)
Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. Program in Neuroscience (Rs. 1000 per month)
Post doctoral Fellowship (Rs. 10500 per month)
Eligibility for National Brain Research Center Scholarships
National Brain Research Center Scholarships are the same as the
admission criteria for their respective programs.
Duration of National Brain Research Center Scholarships
provided to candidates during the entire period of their research
at the institute.
Application for National Brain Research Center Scholarships
To apply for a NBRC Scholarship, a candidate must have enrolled
himself to any one of the various research programs of the NBRC.
The institute usually guides the student regarding the various
application procedures.
